morimura tenma
One of the Hachiyō, he is the Seiryū of Earth. Tenma is Akane's classmate and friend, who gets dragged into Kyō along with her. Initially, he was separated from Akane and Shimon but later stumbles upon her while she is in an argument with Yurihisa. Midway through the series, he confesses to Akane that he has feelings for her and vows to protect her, even at the cost of his own life. When he asks Akane if she feels the same way, she doesn't respond due to some unforeseen interruption. Following this, Tenma tells Akane to disregard what he said and hurriedly leaves.
