Taro is widely regarded as the most adorable and mature employee at the café. Sporting glasses, he is a meticulous neat freak who can't tolerate any form of disorder. Unfortunately, one of his coworkers tends to leave chaos in his wake wherever he goes. As the second-in-command at the café, Taro's instructions are usually followed by his colleagues, except for Minagawa and Maki. His apartment is immaculate, and guests must undergo full-body sanitization before entering. Taro boasts an extensive collection of various cleaning products, many of which he imports from overseas. He wasn't always this obsessive about cleanliness until a visit to Maki's filthy apartment left him submerged in grime. Taro shares a continuous rivalry with Maki, often seen hitting him on the head with a mop or other objects.
