A carefree and optimistic boy, Shuta often comes across as naive and is easily misled. He is the only adult in his group currently pursuing a college education. Shuta studies at an unnamed sports college, where he has developed a master-servant dynamic with several of his female classmates. His tendency to accidentally cause destruction usually results in meager paychecks. Consequently, he frequently faces hunger and resides in a rundown apartment without a bathroom. Despite these challenges, Shuta finds joy in caring for his two pet hamsters, which his coworkers jokingly refer to as his emergency food supply.
