Takami Sahashi is the mother of Minato and Yukari, as well as the head researcher and overseer of the Sekirei Plan at MBI. She confessed to Minato that she had lied about working for a pharmaceutical company after he was briefly placed under her custody during an escape plan. Whenever she's angry or joking, she exhibits a demonic facial expression, a trait shared with her daughter Yukari. Alongside Hiroto, Takami discovered the Sekirei ship. She also serves as the adjuster for Homura (along with Takehito), Musubi, Shiina, and Kusano, possibly out of remorse, as she often expresses doubt and disgust towards Hiroto’s actions. A long scar runs over her left eye, inflicted by Yomi while she was protecting Kusano.
In chapter 100 of the manga, it is revealed that Takami gave birth to Minato out of wedlock with Minaka, stemming from her refusal to let Minaka be part of their family.
