Akitsu is a 'disused' Sekirei, often referred to by Homura as 'Scrap Number.' She cannot be winged by an Ashikabi nor use the Norito, rendering her useless from MBI's perspective. Despite this, Akitsu's power is formidable, enabling her to fight on equal footing with Sekirei like Homura, whom she has encountered three times so far.
Although incapable of being winged, Akitsu considers Hayato Mikogami her Ashikabi because he took her in, and she fears being discarded once more. Similar to her immense strength, Akitsu possesses a cold and melancholic personality. She speaks sparingly in a neutral tone and appears forgetful; for instance, it was noticed that she wore no panties, initially thought to be an order from Hayato Mikogami, but she later revealed it was simply because she forgot to put them on.
Akitsu also expressed envy towards Homura, as he still had the potential to be winged and thus have an Ashikabi, something she can never achieve. She seems polite and follows orders without hesitation. Additionally, Akitsu appears to have some knowledge about subjects such as the first generation Disciplinary Squad.
