Takahito Kagami is the president of the student council and descends from a very old (though no longer wealthy) family. He has a penchant for playing jokes and is often surrounded by a group of girls. His reputation as a player precedes him.
Despite his relaxed demeanor, he handles his responsibilities as student council president efficiently and can turn serious when necessary.
He eventually falls in love with Yuuji Sagara. Initially oblivious, Yuuji later becomes aware of Kagami's feelings as Kagami makes his intentions clear.
