Shirogane Saiga, whose real name is Éléonore (エレオノール), is a young French woman who traveled to Japan with the intention of safeguarding Masaru Saiga. She feels indebted to Masaru's grandfather, Shoji Saiga, for his assistance to her family in the past. However, her connection to Masaru's "family" is more intricate than it initially appears.
Born and raised as an orphan in Quiberon, France, Shirogane endured harsh training in puppet manipulation. Eventually, she became a circus performer, taking on the roles of both bodyguard and caretaker for Masaru. She wields Harlequin, one of the most formidable puppets featured in the series.
Shirogane is characterized by her pale skin, neck-length silver hair that sweeps to the left, striking silver eyes, and a slender yet curvaceous figure.
