sugimoto shinako

Shinako is the eldest of the Sugimoto sisters. She is direct and blunt, yet highly perceptive and easy-going. She tends to avoid conflict, finding it tedious and unnecessary, and is rarely surprised by others' actions. Shinako enjoys humor, often at the expense of others. A graduate of Fujigaya Girls' Academy, Shinako was well-known during her high school years. Flashbacks from various characters show that her personality has remained largely unchanged since her teenage years. Shinako is indifferent to people's sexual orientations. Upon first meeting Fumi, she openly asks if Fumi is a lesbian or bisexual. She mentions having had many "girlfriends" while growing up, possibly out of boredom rather than genuine attraction. Despite being an unrelenting flirt, she remains aloof, which can make her seem slightly cruel to those she has been romantically involved with.
