Prim, proper, and very beautiful, Shimako is the most admired student among the first-years. Initially, she is the petite soeur of Satō Sei and later becomes her successor. Beneath Shimako's quiet and mannerly exterior lies a surprisingly strong resolve. However, Shimako is perhaps the gentlest of the three girls from her year in the Yamayurikai.

In the first season, Shimako holds the position of Rosa Gigantea en bouton, with her grande soeur being Satō Sei.

In the second season, Shimako advances to become Rosa Gigantea, with Nijou Noriko as her petite soeur.
