yaboshi seiya

Seiya is a blonde-haired boy from the planet Sharaku who visits Earth and develops a fondness for Miyu. He often disguises himself as Kanata to spend time with her. His species has the ability to read minds through touch. Seiya first appears in the episode titled "The Mysterious Boy, Yaboshi Seiya." After making contact with Miyu's hand and reading her thoughts, he initially wanted to take Ruu back to his home planet, Sharaku, to appear on a television show because people from planet Otto were considered rare. However, upon truly understanding Miyu's feelings, he realized how precious Ruu was to both her and Kanata and ceased his plans. Seiya has a sister named Rui, who once saved him from being pulled into a wormhole, and he had a sheltered upbringing. His surname, Yaboshi, translates to night star. (Source: Wikipedia)
