saionji kanata

Kanata is one of the most popular boys in his school, especially among the girls, thanks to his good looks. Shortly after Miyu moves into his home, Kanata's father announces his intention to embark on a year-long trip to India for enlightenment. This leaves Kanata and Miyu living together under the same roof. Miyu begins attending Kanata's school, and they struggle to keep their living arrangement a secret. Kanata learns from Miyu's mother that they were childhood friends, and as the story unfolds, he finds himself increasingly drawn to her (though he still teases her to hide his feelings). His mother, who was close friends with Miyu's mother, passed away when he was young. Kanata has a particular fondness for pumpkin, enjoying all its forms, from squash to chips. Luu also refers to Kanata as "papa" due to his striking resemblance to Luu's real father. Years later, Kanata marries Miyu, and they reside at the temple. They have a daughter named Miu.
