Seifer makes an appearance in Kingdom Hearts II as a younger version of himself. He leads the Twilight Town Disciplinary Committee, which includes Fuu (Fujin), Rai (Raijin), and Vivi from Final Fantasy IX. In DiZ's simulated Twilight Town, Seifer is a rival to Roxas and his friends, facing off against Roxas in the Struggle tournament. In the real Twilight Town, he remains a rival to the group, but with Roxas absent, Hayner becomes his primary competitor. Seifer is notably antagonistic towards Sora, the main protagonist of the Kingdom Hearts series, yet after Sora rescues Seifer's gang from the Nobodies, Seifer acknowledges him by giving him the Struggle Trophy, a silent gesture of respect. Although Squall, his rival from Final Fantasy, also appears in the series, the two never cross paths, though they still bear their iconic scars.
