arashiyama sayoko

Arashi is Hajime's first friend he makes in the Ark. She and Hajime share a great rapport, often playing together around the village, embarking on adventures with one another, or performing and improvising silly skits that amuse them but leave onlookers puzzled. She has a good sense of humor and a strong sense of righteousness. She is extremely close friends with Kaja. Arashi is very forgetful and not very responsible, acting impulsively without considering the consequences of her actions. Arashi is actually a ghost who is more than sixty years old. She died during World War II and has since remained "alive" as a ghost capable of time travel when she connects with certain males. She spends much of her time at the Ark cafe, working there as a waitress. It is speculated that she has traveled back in time with other people over the years to save individuals from her own time period from the bombings during the war.
