sarasa

The protagonist is a 15-year-old girl who assumes the identity of her murdered twin brother, Tatara, known as the child of destiny. As Tatara, she wields the sword of Byakko and leads the survivors from Byakko Village. Among her allies, only a few are aware that she is actually a girl. Sarasa dreams of creating a land rich with fertility, abundant in flora, and free from conflict.

Though prone to tears and psychologically vulnerable in some aspects, throughout the story she develops undeniable skills in leadership and swordsmanship, eventually becoming the central figure of the Tatara Army. Her visits to hot springs have introduced her to a curious young man named Shuri, who has become her sole outlet for being completely herself as Sarasa. However, at present, she remains unaware that Shuri is her hated enemy, The Red King.
