One of the twelve Valkyries serving Freya, Sara is initially encountered while trying to hunt down Fenris Fenrir, though the warlock manages to escape. She subsequently unleashes an army of Giants upon Fayon, causing widespread devastation. It turns out that Sara is actually the half-sister of Iris. For reasons unknown and terrible, their father murdered Sara's mother and attempted to kill Sara as well. Fleeing from Fayon, Sara became obsessed with vengeance. During the attack on Fayon, she confronted and killed her father, which earned her the enmity of Iris. Interestingly, despite this, Sara saves both Iris and Fenrir from the witch Bijou. However, she coldly informs her half-sister that she intends to finish her off the next time they meet. Armed with the legendary Sword of Retribution, Haeryongdo, Sara remains a formidable and complex figure.
