sanakan

A high-level agent of the Safeguard, Sanakan initially appears as a short, young girl with black hair. She seems particularly interested in eradicating the human tribe of Electro-Fishers and appears to have some history with Killy.

Sanakan has three distinct forms. Her first form is that of a child, who is later taken by Cibo and used until ten years have passed. The second form is her battle-ready Safeguard form, which can be revived multiple times. In this form, she wields a GBE similar to Killy's, though it is larger in size but not necessarily more powerful. Her third form resembles her original humanoid appearance, akin to Killy.

The manga reveals that the Safeguard form of Sanakan does not contain her soul; instead, it is a remote-controlled body operated by the main Safeguard system. This explains why, when Cibo hacks into the Safeguard system, all exterminators, including Sanakan's Safeguard form, cease movement temporarily. The real Sanakan, now protecting Cibo who carries the Net Terminal Genes, is killed again by silicon creatures.

After her death (possibly within the net sphere), her leader warns her that if she returns to base reality in her Safeguard form (one possessing her soul) and is killed again, they cannot revive her. Ultimately, Sanakan shares the same goal as Killy. She even assists him in destroying the Safeguard system, which attempts to consume Cibo's core.
