Leader of a cyborg contingent encountered by Killy late in the series, Davinel operates on a level that grants provisional access to the Net Sphere to individuals with normal human DNA. Seeking entry into the Net Sphere, Davinel attempts to acquire the DNA sample in Cibo's possession, which belongs to Seu. Successfully infiltrating the Net Sphere in Seu's form, he underestimates the GA's agent, who cleverly reduces the connection speed, buying enough time to launch an attack unnoticed. Despite this, Davinel manages to steal the Level Nine safeguard data just before Dhomochevsky kills him. There has been debate over Linvega's gender; Iko initially refers to Linvega as male. However, in the side comic BLAME! Academy, Linvega is depicted as female.
