After his second unsuccessful endeavor, he spirals into drug addiction and near madness, eventually playing a crucial role in the manga's final story arc. His online alias is "Marionette King," and his real name remains unmentioned throughout the manga (though it is revealed in the Is Pure OVA to be Samejima).
