He is a friend from Ichitaka's class. Introduced in Volume 4 during a school trip to Kyoto, he gets paired with Iori. Initially, he seems like a threat to Ichitaka as it appears he's in love with Iori. However, it turns out that he is gay and actually in love with Higemi-sensei, their teacher. Since Higemi-sensei is paired with Ichitaka, Koshinae requests a switch, returning the happy Ichitaka to his crush. From then on, Jun becomes one of Ichitaka's best friends and a key listener when Ichitaka finds Teratani's advice unsatisfactory. Despite hating physical aggression, he is remarkably skilled in martial arts when necessary.
