saki ryuuji

A third-year middle school student and the younger brother of Ryuuta Saki, Ryuuji resembles his older brother closely and is often referred to as "Saki number two" by Kindaichi. Like Ryuuta, Ryuuji is obsessed with documenting his surroundings on video, which frequently aids Kindaichi in solving cases. Ever since his debut in the "Kindaichi the Killer" case, where he claimed his deceased brother appeared in a dream asking for his help, Ryuuji has been enthusiastically assisting Kindaichi. In the anime adaptation, Ryuuta is still alive, so Ryuuji does not appear. Consequently, all of Ryuuji's appearances in the manga are attributed to Ryuuta in the anime version.
