The protagonist of Wild Act, he is a 17-year-old renowned movie star in Japan, often compared to "The New Nanae," a comparison he utterly detests. His love for Yuniko uncovers his highly possessive nature and tendency towards lewd thoughts. Despite their frequent bickering, Ryu genuinely loves Yuniko. Occasionally, he displays romantic gestures and deeply cares about her feelings. Though perceived as a pervert, Ryu shows signs of remarkable maturity for his age, albeit with a temper that flares up more frequently. Believing they are siblings, Ryu insists on abstaining from further sexual relations until they can prove otherwise. During the confrontation with Maki over the tape, he leaps after Yuniko when she falls off a cliff.
