Lelouch's supposed twin brother bears an uncanny resemblance to Lelouch. Rolo was separated from Marianne in infancy due to the superstition that twin princes bring misfortune. Consequently, his existence is unknown to Lelouch and Nunnally. He is affiliated with the Geass Order and known as The Cardinal. Rolo pilots his own customized Vincent Knightmare Frame, showcasing ruthless and cold piloting skills. He first appears in chapter 10 alongside Schneizel, who is en route to Area 11, and later encounters Suzaku, who discerns that he is not Lelouch. Similar to Nunnally and Lelouch, Rolo possesses Geass powers, enabling him to summon his personal Vincent Knightmare Frame. His Geass, "The Ice," has the same ability as the original Rolo's (to halt one's experience of time) and, as the name suggests, encases victims in ice. Rolo plans to eliminate Nunnally and Lelouch to acquire their powers and become the true Demon King, aiming to overthrow the Emperor. In reality, he is not Lelouch's twin at all but a clone created from Charles and Marianne's DNA, brainwashed into believing he was Lelouch's twin brother.
