oono orie

Orie is Oono Haruka's much older sister. She attended Fujigaya Girls' Academy in her youth, though her attendance was not the reason Haruka enrolled later. Orie and Yamashina Hinako were classmates and close friends during their time at the academy. Orie harbored a crush on her upperclassman, Sugimoto Shinako. When she saw Hinako with a love letter, Orie assumed it was for Shinako, who was admired by almost all the students. To her surprise, Orie discovered that the letter was actually addressed to her. Feeling guilty after Hinako confessed, Orie thought her feelings for her best friend stemmed from the confession. Eventually, Orie realized she truly loved Hinako and initiated their first kiss, leaving Hinako astonished. Orie even cried at the thought of Hinako leaving and forgetting her upon graduation. Now, Orie lives alone in an apartment, often visited by Hinako, fulfilling their promise to always be together. Chapter 39 suggests they eventually come out to their parents.
