Woody, an oak tree whose actual name remains a mystery, has earned his nickname fittingly. It's logical given that he's an oak tree. Woody first comes into view when Alice inadvertently sits on him after the group had been walking all day and sought a place to rest. Woody has long been favored by the Forest Fairies who desired his sap. However, as Woody has aged, the Forest Fairies have moved on to a newer, faster source of sap.
