Obsessed with disassembling objects, Annasui had a somewhat awkward childhood. He would meticulously take apart items like a pocket watch, his neighbor's car, and anything else that piqued his interest. One day, after coming home from work, he discovered his girlfriend cheating on him with another man. In a calculated response, he violently tore both of them apart. This led to his imprisonment with a twelve-year sentence for first-degree murder. Although he was briefly spotted near Weather Report by Hermes, Annasui doesn't become involved with Jolyne until F.F. seeks Emporio's help. Enchanted by the stories he has heard about her, Annasui agrees to be Jolyne's bodyguard, driven by his intense admiration for her.
