Murugu is the irritating bird owned by Suzaku. Acting as a spy for Maze Castle, she provides Suzaku with information whenever he requests it. Murugu has the unique ability to pass through the barrier that encloses both Maze Castle and the demon city, as well as travel between the human and demon realms. It was she who initially informed Suzaku about Keiko when he sent her to gather intelligence on Yusuke. Murugu is deeply loyal to Suzaku and follows only his commands. Ultimately, she met her demise alongside her master when Yusuke's final attack obliterated both of them, the Makai whistle, and a significant portion of Suzaku's tower.
