Quiet, serious, and secretive, Miyu is Noeru's roommate. She tends to be a loner and occasionally stays out late into the night. Initially, she seems unfriendly to Noeru, but they eventually become good friends after he assists her with her 'bug problems'—unbeknownst to her, these were pranks thoughtlessly orchestrated by Noeru himself. Despite her reputation, Miyu is actually a kind and pleasant girl. There are numerous rumors about her at school, such as her alleged involvement with an older man. While she appears indifferent to these whispers, Noeru grows concerned and even goes so far as to spy on her during one of her outings, reluctantly dragging Sasa along. As matters settle down, Noeru, with Maria's help, realizes that his feelings for Miyu might extend beyond friendship. Indeed, Miyu becomes the one who can distract Noeru from his unhealthy obsession with his sister. However, due to a past experience, Miyu harbors a deep resentment towards liars, which poses a significant challenge for Noeru, especially given his cross-dressing habit and growing affection for her. It is also revealed later in the story that Miyu and Sasa share another connection beyond their school life.
