asatani mitsuko

A special investigator dispatched from Tokyo Police HQ to aid in the Cat's Eye investigations. Asatani possesses a remarkably sharp intellect and exhibits a cunning personality, marking her as an elite officer within the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. She is an expert markswoman, having claimed victory in the All-Japan Air Pistol Championships, and is skilled in various martial arts. Holding a 4th-degree black belt in karate and a 2nd-degree black belt in judo, she proves to be more than a match for Hitomi. Asatani is also notably beautiful, even crowned a beauty queen during one of the Cat's Eye cases. She is among the first to suspect Hitomi as the true identity of Cat's Eye but never manages to find conclusive proof. Her primary weakness is her reliance on prescription glasses, as she is almost blind without them.
