Midori initially appears as one of Mai's co-workers at the Linden Baum diner. Despite claiming to be 17 years old, she is actually 24, though no one believes her age claim. Although she seems goofy and more enthusiastic about justice than being a serious leader, she is actually the most experienced HiME, being the oldest in the group.
