This mumbling, asocial girl possesses the ability to create force fields around herself using her Gate of Walls (also known as Gate of Steel in other translations). Megumi harbors a deep resentment towards Ruriko; she is intensely jealous of Ruriko's wealth, intelligence, and popularity, especially when compared to her own life as a delivery girl for a noodle shop. She despises how effortlessly Ruriko seems to outshine her. Although Megumi is part of A.E.G.I.S., she shows little interest in socializing with her fellow Gate Keepers. Eventually, she joins Reiji and the Invaders after he promises to 'recognize her true abilities.' She acquires a Minus Gate, the Gate of Invasion, which allows her to invade the minds of others. However, Reiji betrays her once Ruriko returns to the side of good. Megumi takes on the role originally filled by Misao in the game, though it’s important to note that while both characters share the same gate, their personalities are quite different. Her Gate color is green.
