A mysterious nurse escorts students to the basement infirmary for a special class every Thursday. She is aware of all students' names, both new and old, along with their personal "issues," such as Ichijo's gender identity. This nurse also participates in the memory loss phenomenon when a student "graduates." In Volume 1, Mashiro checks at the regular high school infirmary, where all staff members are accounted for, but this particular nurse is not among them. The entrance to the basement infirmary remains hidden from everyone except the class members on Thursdays. Little information is available about her; even the manga creator has not revealed her name. Her appearance resembles the "Queen of Death" from Mashiro's dream in Volume 5, yet she also bears a striking similarity to Mashiro's mother depicted in Volume 10.
