shinbashi kazuyuki

Shinbashi harbors feelings for Kureha and has admired her from a distance, accepting that he could never be with her. After a misunderstanding in the library is resolved, he forms a close friendship with Mashiro. Mashiro attempts to bring Shinbashi and Kureha closer, but her efforts backfire, leading Kureha to become upset. Nonetheless, Kureha later requests Shinbashi's phone number and contacts him to discuss Mashiro. Despite his own emotions, Shinbashi provides advice to both Kureha and Mashiro separately regarding their relationship.

In the dream world, Shinbashi takes over Itsuki's role starting from the fourth volume and graduates. He assumes the function of Mashiro's mobile phone and gains the ability to sense the condition of Kureha's dream counterpart.
