Kyral Mekirel is the Gundam fighter representing Neo-Nepal. A returning competitor from the eleventh tournament, Kyral was once heavily favored to win with his Tantora Gundam. During the finals of the 11th tournament, his sole weapon, a left-handed claw, became stuck in the ground, preventing him from evading a barrage of attacks from Gentle Chapman and his John Bull Gundam. This defeat made Gentle Chapman a three-time Gundam Fight Champion. The attack caused an explosion in the cockpit, leaving Kyral blind. He later returned for the thirteenth tournament, seeking vengeance against all fighters with the Mandala Gundam. Acting under orders from the Nepalese government, he assassinated all Gundam fighters he was scheduled to face before their matches. He nearly succeeded in killing Domon but was stopped by Chibodee Crocket. In his match against Domon, Kyral realized the error of his ways and withdrew from the Gundam Fight to seek atonement from the families of those he had murdered. Later, he joined Allenby and other Gundam fighters to assist the Shuffle Alliance in attacking the Devil Gundam. Additionally, Kyral appeared as a playable character (piloting Mandala) in Super Robot Wars MX on the PS2, and its PSP version, Super Robot Wars MX Portable.
