Kimishima is a close friend and supporter of Kazuma. As a businessman, he frequently leverages his connections to obtain valuable information. It was through these connections that he first met Kazuma. Despite not possessing any alter powers himself, Kimishima often finds himself in dangerous situations, such as defending the Lost Ground against HOLY crackdowns. A recurring joke in the series is that every vehicle he acquires ends up being destroyed, either unintentionally by Kazuma or by other alter users.
He harbors romantic feelings for Ayase Terada. In the anime, Kimishima suffers severe injuries during a conflict with HOLY, specifically Darth, and later dies from his wounds. This event deeply affects Kazuma, driving him to the brink of insanity from grief and anger. However, in the manga, Kimishima remains alive and well, eventually marrying Ayase Terada. He makes his first appearance in Episode 1.
