Kisa is the tiger of the zodiac. She is very shy, adorable, and introverted, mainly because her classmates bully and ostracize her due to her naturally orange hair, a side effect of her tiger curse. In Japanese society, having non-black hair is often seen as "disrespectful" or "unnatural," and being teased for this reason is unfortunately common. Tohru helps Kisa come out of her shell, and Kisa grows quite attached to her, calling her "big sister" or "oneechan." She loves omelets and dislikes dry foods. She is also a fan of an anime series called "Mogeta." Kisa is usually seen with Hiro or Momiji. Her mother is extremely protective of her and frequently worries about her well-being.
