Souma's older brother and legal guardian, as well as the priest of the temple of the Solar and Lunar Miko. His responsibilities include preserving the legacy of the Miko and preparing them for battle. He is calm and composed but particularly concerned about Souma and both priestesses. Despite his composed demeanor, there are hints suggesting he may not be revealing everything to everyone.
It is later disclosed that he is actually Souma's adoptive brother, with the real sibling being Tsubasa, known as the First Neck.
