schneider karl-heinz
Karl-Heinz Schneider is the number 11 and captain of the youth Germany team. He is one of Wakabayashi Genzou's greatest rivals since their time at Grunwald (Captain Tsubasa Road to 2002) and is nicknamed "The Kaiser" because he managed to dominate the offensive front with immense ease. His signature shot is also called the Fire Shot. However, his role changes in each series. In the original Captain Tsubasa series, he makes a brief appearance and is only featured in a few episodes. In the OVA (Shin Captain Tsubasa), he becomes one of the main protagonists. In the subsequent two series, he retains a more marginal role. Yet, especially in the last series (Road to 2002), his character is very well-developed, often outshining those around him, such as Hermann Kaltz and Wakabayashi Genzou.
