kimishima kana

Kana is a rebellious "bad girl" who develops a crush on Shinichi. She is drawn to him because of his sensitive nature and her ability to sense something "different" about him. In truth, Kana possesses an unexplained psychic power that allows her to detect Parasites.

However, her senses are not as refined as those of the Parasites, making it difficult for her to distinguish between Shinichi and a regular Parasite, which puts her in significant danger.

Her ability to sense Parasitic signals ultimately leads to her demise in episode 12 when she follows a signal, mistaking a Parasite for Shinichi.
