Not long after birth, he found himself in many orphanages and facilities. However, he quickly grew tired of the monotonous life and frequently escaped, eventually finding his way to Doya Town, where the story unfolds.
Joe is rude and quick to fight, yet he can also be very frivolous at times. Due to his rough upbringing, he is a delinquent who enjoys solitude but later learns to appreciate his new friends and rivals. He struggles with understanding women and essentially treats them nicely out of obligation.
