Wife of the Cross Guard soldier Jake and mother of Jack, she lives on a small farm with her son. Later, when Jack is away, she shares her home with a pair of werewolves who once attacked their farm. Jack holds a special place in her heart, especially after Jake was killed by the knight Vizel during the first War Games. Initially, she discourages Jack from engaging in fights with any opponent who might try to kill him, even if confronting them is the right thing to do. For instance, when the werewolves were terrorizing their farm, she tolerated their cruel behavior out of fear that Jack might get hurt if they tried to defend themselves.
However, after Jack triumphs over the werewolves, and later during his first match in the War Games, she realizes it's time for Jack to mature and that she should support him in this journey. One of her regrets is that while she taught Jack everything she knew about farming, she never taught him how to properly treat a lady, resulting in Jack being somewhat of a pervert. Jack's mother also takes Pano under her wing and considers her like a daughter—or more accurately, like a daughter-in-law, as a potential wife for her son.
