Illuso is a minor antagonist featured in Part V: Golden Wind of the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure series. Illuso is part of La Squadra di Esecuzione, engaging a segment of Buccellati's Gang in Rome. Illuso exhibits a cocky demeanor, yet he backs it up with formidable strength. He is one of the most powerful members of La Squadra, nearly killing three main characters with ease. His downfall came from his lack of knowledge about Giorno's Stand. Illuso possesses the Stand "Man in the Mirror." Despite having mediocre stats, particularly a C in Destructive Power and a D in Durability, its main ability more than compensates for these shortcomings. The primary ability of Man in the Mirror is the "Mirror World." This realm is essentially lifeless, except when Illuso enters it or pulls someone else into it. Illuso can enter the "Mirror World" through any reflective surface, although this hasn't been explicitly shown in the series. Breaking a mirror provides him with more angles to attack due to the increased number of reflective surfaces created by the fragments. When Illuso targets someone to drag into the Mirror World, the target can see him in the mirror, but only they can perceive him there. This process cannot be stopped unless canceled by Illuso. When the target is pulled into the "Mirror World," all their possessions are converted into spiritual energy. The Stand of the user remains outside the "Mirror World," leaving them defenseless against Man in the Mirror's attacks. (Correction: Illuso can also drag Stands into the "Mirror World," but doing so leaves the user in the real world.) Inside the "Mirror World," any damage inflicted in the real world is mirrored within this dimension. For example, if a wall is broken in the real world, the same wall breaks in the Mirror World.
