Hikaru is a 15-year-old girl who previously attended an all-girls school before being accepted into Takara Honda's school. She has a deep love for shōjo manga. One day, her first kiss is taken by Arata Ichikawa, described as a "perverted prince." Hikaru appears to have feelings for both Takara and his brother, Arata, though it's unclear at this point who she prefers more. At one pivotal moment, Hikaru was pressured to choose between Takara and Arata. Unable to decide, the brothers agreed to settle the matter through a karate tournament. The winner would be with Hikaru, while the loser would forget about her and move on. During the final match between Takara and Arata, Arata noticed that Takara was injured and had planned to lose from the start because he believed only Takara could make Hikaru truly happy. As a result, Arata lost the match, which infuriated Takara. However, after Hikaru rejected Takara despite his victory with a simple "I'm sorry," Takara had to give up on her, still holding onto the ring that symbolized their broken relationship. In the end, Hikaru chose Arata and eventually had a child with him.
