Hazuki embodies the "tall, dark bishōjo" archetype perfectly. She is characterized by her quiet demeanor and serious attitude, complemented by long dark blue hair and piercing blue eyes. Hazuki often comes across as cold and unfriendly, yet she harbors a deep protectiveness over Hatsumi. Beneath her tough exterior, she is actually quite vulnerable and romantic, sometimes even submissive, but she staunchly hides these traits, relying only on her adoptive sister, Hatsumi, for support—unless circumstances force her otherwise. For instance, during her first meeting with Lilith, Hazuki initially rejects Lilith's offer to assist in searching for Hatsumi/Eve. It is only when Lilith points out that Hazuki cannot traverse between worlds without her help that Hazuki reluctantly agrees to travel alongside her, though only implicitly. Once Hazuki no longer needs Lilith's assistance, she disregards Lilith's feelings and wishes regarding Eve. Hazuki holds Hatsumi in such high regard that she views her own sexual attraction to Hatsumi as vulgar and shameful.
