Halloween is the second strongest Knight and holds the third position in command, surpassed only by Peta due to his superior intelligence. Abandoned as a child by his parents, Halloween was originally named Pump. He endured relentless bullying from other children in his town. During his childhood, Pump developed a disturbing habit of dismembering small animals like dogs. Despite this and the town's disdain for him, his childhood friend Alan remained loyal. One day, Alan showed Pump a ÄRM that could create flames. Fascinated by it, Pump stole the ÄRM, murdered the children who had bullied him, and left the village after telling Alan they would always be different people. At some point, Pump joined the Chess Pieces, adopting the title of Halloween and chaining himself to a cross ÄRM, eventually rising to the rank of Knight. Fate led Halloween to confront Alan, now a member of the Cross Guard, resulting in a draw. To this day, Halloween harbors a deep hatred for Alan within his broken heart.
