Gwess is Jolyne Cujoh's cellmate in Part VI: Stone Ocean. Initially presented as a minor antagonist, she adopts a neutral stance with friendly tendencies after being defeated by Jolyne. Gwess initially appears sweet and kind. She was often seen with a "pet" that she would make talk and give treats to. However, if the pet refused her, her demeanor swiftly transformed into that of a mad-driven individual capable of killing for amusement. Despite her deceptive nature and willingness to trick others, Gwess is fundamentally a coward. Unaware of the nature of Stands, she did not engage in any battles following her conflict with Jolyne and chose instead to read magazines and act subservient towards her roommate. When Jolyne fell under the influence of Miu Miu's Jail House Rock, Gwess became very timid and hardly spoke. (Source: JJBA Wikia)
