Guy Christophe Rech/Lesch is a Shirogane known as the puppeteer of Olympia. He saved Narumi Kato's life by using the last bit of Aqua Vitae after Narumi was mortally wounded and lost his left arm. A legendary figure nicknamed "Destroyer of 200 Bodies" and "Olympia's Lover," Guy not only transformed Narumi into a Shirogane but also acted as the "teacher" who nurtured young Éléonore. In the manga, he additionally trained and supervised Masaru’s growth as a puppeteer.
Guy is a handsome and composed young man with a penchant for quoting Shakespeare frequently. Despite being physically 34 years old, he exhibits stubbornness and cold-heartedness. However, he possesses an extremely paternal side, displaying weaknesses such as reverting to childish behavior when deprived of a pendant containing a photo of his mother, Maman.
He works at a hospital operated by Dr. Leif Banhart, which functions both as a research facility and an orphanage for children afflicted with Zonapha syndrome. In the anime, Guy took Narumi directly to Dr. Banhart's Hospital, whereas in the manga, they were hiding in France, the homeland of the Shiroganes.
