Gothic serves as the leader of the Syndicate, driven by a desire to control the country through drugs and the power of the Eto Gun and Zodiac Gun. Gothic is actually Mingchao's father. When Mingchao was an infant, his mother passed away due to illness, unable to receive proper medical care because she was Chinese. This loss fueled Gothic's desire for revenge against America, intending to use the Eto and Zodiac Guns to achieve his goals. However, Mingchao's grandfather discovered Gothic's plans and fled New York with Mingchao and the guns. Gothic formed the Syndicate to locate the guns and a hidden stash of drugs in New York, which he planned to use to seize control of the country. He can wield both the Eto Gun and the Zodiac Gun because he has branded both symbols on his palm. Ultimately, Gothic is defeated and killed when Mingchao and Baskerville combine their efforts to fire the Eto Gun using all the animal essences simultaneously, creating the powerful dragon bullet.
