George is the son of Jonathan Joestar and the late father of Joseph Joestar. George is also known as Jorge, especially in connection with the novel Jorge Joestar.
George Joestar II was born just months after his father's death at the hands of Dio Brando. He grew up to marry Elizabeth, whom he had saved multiple times during their childhood. They went on to have a son named Joseph Joestar.
George served as a pilot in the British Air Force during World War I. During his service, he discovered that one of his superior officers was a zombie created by Dio, who had been living in secret for years. George confronted him but, unfortunately, was not proficient in the art of ripple and died in the ensuing battle. Lisa Lisa mourned his death, which prompted her to study the ripple and its applications.
