The younger brother of Friederich Tanner, known as Gamma Omega, holds the eighth position in the Adepts' hierarchy. He has the ability to control both cobalt and gamma rays, generating destructive laser-like beams from an elaborate ornament on his right hand, which he frequently cleans and admires. Highly narcissistic and arrogant, he takes pride in his aristocratic background and treats others as inferior. Sharing the same ambitions as his elder brother Friederich, he dreams of destabilizing Europe to resurrect the Holy Roman Empire under German leadership. He harbors a particularly bitter rivalry with Jita Phrygianos and her brother, deeming them unworthy of being Adepts. He almost had her killed after inciting her into a confrontation, forcing her to take the blame. During his brother's attempt to unseal the Theotokos, he was tasked with defending Friederich from Sasha, Ekaterina, and Tasuku, with assistance from Aoi Kuchiba and Milk. However, the battle proved too intense for him; he suffered severe facial disfigurement from Sasha's scythe and nearly caught fire when the three Qwasers combined their efforts to stop Friederich. Severely wounded, he was dragged from the battlefield by Aoi.
