Erroneously humbling himself before the Iga, Gennosuke embodies honor. In hopes of winning their admiration for his betrothed, Oboro, he is willing to do anything to secure their marriage.

While Gennosuke strives to end the longstanding tradition of hatred and embrace the Iga as family, they plot against him, eliminating his clansmen one by one. Adored by the Kouga, Gennosuke is greatly feared by his enemies. His power is such that the Iga avoid confronting him directly at all costs. This fear is well-justified, as he wields the ultimate doujutsu technique taught by his master, Hyoma.
